Verizon DSL--- Horrible Customer service

I've been with verizon dsl for a good 3 years now going on to 4. For the past 2 months i've been constantly calling them by-weekly because i kept losing my internet connection. Now I do not have much time for myself since i leave for work early in the morning and return real late mostly because i stop by the gym before getting home. A usual technical service call would usually take me between an hour or two to have the problem resolved. This always gets me irritated and i usually start raising my tone or criticizing both verizon and my router service (linksys). Today June 14 i set a record with technical support. My problem was resoled in 4hours and 30 minutes. Yes that's right four hours and 20 minutes. Why? I kept jumping from verizon to linksys. I would speak with a verizon techinician and then get back to linksys for more system configurations and so on for 4 hours. Now i was surprised that this time i was not getting irritated or angry. I did not raise my tone i kept calm and followed the instructions given to me. At some point i got both verizon and lynksis agents talking to one another. They were not agreeing with one another and the dsl agent HUNG UP ON ME. He hung up on me after i've been on the phone for 3 hours going back and forth with dsl and verizon. I was shocked but again not angry which is weird because i would have normally thrown the phone or broke something out of frustration. So what i did is call it a day and told the linsys agent i would try again tomorrow. But hey i'm an internet guy and cannot go a day without being online. So i decided to reset both the modem and the router and to setup it up myself. After all i had been on the phone for 4 hours trying to get my online connection back on again. The good news is that i was able to get my online connection to work. Since i remembered what to do because i must have called a million times and the process is now forever stored in my head.
I'm giving 2 thumbs down to verizon customer service and would really be happy if i could meat the kind gentleman that was so nice enough to hang up on me. I want to meet him just to show my appreciation.

Why the F**** am i not getting angry? Why am i still calm even thought it's 2:14 in the morning? It's strange for the past week i've been feeling emotional changes. I am constantly smiling or understanding. i haven't been irritated in a while now it's weird. ... The only new thing that happened to me this month is that i started to make more money online thanks to bum marketing (article writing). I made more money in clickbank than the past 2 years i've tried. My adsense sites seem to be converting well. I'm having better results at the gym and i joined shaklee. I've been using shaklee products for about 2 weeks now. Ah... I think i know what it is now. Hmm... well i'll reprot back later and specify which shaklee products i'm using. Very interesting indeed

PIF4P is great but there was something that was lacking a little bit. Something that bothered me and that is that i tried on several occasions to find a good way to have an incoming income that i can leverage and use for ny advertising needs. So i decided to promote GDI and i did. GDI is great in fact i still promote it in a way. However instead of you know using ppc campaigns to promote gdi i decided to promote it virally. Now the benefits need to be compelling and the price mouth watering. That said the opportunity that i offer is less then $10. That's right less then dollars. People would have to be crazy to deny this opportunity. MLM consultants have gotten to be a popular figure in the network marketing business. There are many good ones out there, and there are not so good ones as well. You must know what to look for, before you spend a dime on them.

You should know that some MLM consultants are actually network marketers that say they are consultants. You must understand that consulting is a career and profession that demands many things.

Being a network marketer does not automatically qualify one as an expert, even if they have had great success in MLM. Maybe they were just in the right place at the right time and with the right people. That can happen also.

Here are five things to look for in a good MLM consultant.

1. A track record that is available for inspection.

The first thing to look for is stability. It would be best if an MLM company has been in business for 2 to 5 years. There is really something about companies that have already “stood the test of time”.

If I Was A Newbie This Is How I would Make Cash

This is a post that i took from the warrior forum.
This is very good information. I usually read tips that some people give and don't pay much attention to them. however this was a good one. I like it i read every word of it and took notes of course. The post is below enjoy :-)

I have made many mistakes and I hope that this will help give some of you a heads up so as to not make the same mistake as myself.I mainly use the bum marketing method and I will lay out step by step my methods that have worked for me.
Please ignore grammer mistakes. I aint that good at typing fast lol.

If I was just starting out in this business here is what I would do.I will explain why after.

1. I would register with this forum. If you are not already a member do so now. I would then start posting and getting to know alot of the regulars and learning as you go along.

2.I would go to http://www.blogger.com and open an account.A blog in my opinion can be just as good as your own website. But to get you started it will be sufficient. Some people also reccommend wordpress but I find blogger just fine.

3.I would then go to http://www.ezinearticles.com and sign up for your free account. To those of you who are totally new to this business, ezinearticles is a website that allows you to post articles that will drive traffic to your blogs.

4. Next I would go to http://www.aweber.com and open an autoresponder. This is probably the only product that will cost you money for now.

5. I would then download for free http://www.bummarketingmethod.com

6. I would then register with http://www.clickbank.com. There are many other affiliate programmes available and I use a few but to get started I reccommed this one as paycheck are very regular.

7. You will also need some sort of keyword generator but this is sufficient http://www.seo2020.com/seo-tools/keyword-research/keyword-research-tool/.

Ok..Now that I have told you the products that I use I will try and tell you what I do with them and hopefully you will start seeing some cash comming in.

What I do next is try and pick a niche. When picking a niche try to make it something that you are interested in. For example lets say you have an interest in car window tinting. Or you know how to do it. What you have to do is firslty look for a product that you could sell to people who are interested in tinting car windows. This could be an instructional manual on clickbank or even some material available from a window tinting affiliate. Just choose something that your audience would actually buy.

Once you have your product you should now go to your blog that you have setup. On your blog try to write a few posts related to say for example tinting an mg zr window.Tinting a saxo window, tinting a bmw window. Or even include posts in your blog telling you how to fit brakes etc. Anything that you feel would interest somebody of this background. Now within the posts in your blog you need to include the product that you want to sell to them. This is vital.Now include an opt in on your blog that will allow people to sign up for more info. Find some relevant info that you can send them and set it up in your aweber autoresponder.

What I then do next is use my keyword tool to find keywords that people would use to search for the information related to my blog. Ask yourself the question " if I want to tint my car what phrases would I use to find the information"...

Ok now that you have came up with relevant keyword phrases you need to select the ones that have the most searches and the least competition. This is thie tricky part and you need to find a balance.

Now I then write articles. I include the keywords in the title, at the end and also 1.5times every 100 words.

I post my articles to ezinearticles and a few other directories but not that many. And then i wait until the articles are listed. And i keep writing more using as many good keyword phrases as I can think of.

The next thing I would do is try to create a short ebook report on car window tinting and give it to your subscribers or everybody that visits your website for free. In this ebook include your links to your product that you are trying to sell them and also to your blog.

Over time you products and links willbe all over the internet. I would allow about 30days from beginning before you will start to get excited with any income.

Then when you have done that go to blogger and setup a brand new blog in another niche. And after that do the same again.

Another key tip is to join forums related to your niche and post regularly building up trust so that people will follow your links to your products and you will soon find that you are being recommended all over the place.

Once you have build up your blogs you will have learned alot of the keys to this business and you can then progress onto other methods including adwords and creating more products etc.

You could even sell the sites you have build up for alot of cash.

Anyway I hope this has helped some of you out there. These are the exact methods and tools that I am using at the moment and of course I use alot of other extra tips but these are the main areas I focus on.

Uplines are independent representatives who recruit another independent representative which they will use in the direct selling of goods and services to customers. Put simply, the recruiter is the upline. They get their commission on the sales of the other independent representatives.

On the other hand, the recruited independent representatives are the downlines. Home-based MLM business opportunity is a commission-based joint effort of uplines and downlines.

That is the main reason why both uplines and downlines must work together. Without the other, the whole business force will be paralyzed. It will not function.

As an online marketer you want to be known for good things not for spamming.

After your articles have been submitted and accpeted into a article directory database it will remain there for as long as the site is still running and hopefully for you and me, that's forever :-)-- Let's say you submit an article today and 5,6, 10 years from now a curious reader puts in a search term related to your article. Your article shows up eventhough you've written and forgotten about it and that my friend is free advertising.

I'm trying to get a very responsive list. i currently have a list of about 1000 and growing. The list is not as responsive as i would like it's mostly my fault because i was a terrible marketer [:(]
I never kept up with my list... i didn't do my job as an Internet marketer I can come with many excuses but those won't help.
My goal is to get a good list, fast. Why fast well because i'm a college student and i want to use my skills as an internet marketer to uh pay my tuition. I finally learned how to build my own capture page thanks to an html editor..
i know how to capture leads but google is a tad bit expensive when you're targeting biz op seekers.
I setup a schedule where i contact my list at least twice a week.
I've planned to get more advertising money through adsense but seems there's more work to it than i thought.
I was listening to Michael's Gaspie podcast. This guy said that at first he realized that his 500 tail list earned him $500/month. So that's $1 per list member. I'm not there yet but would love to do so soon.

Try and send out at least 15-20 of these everyday. It is a more aggressive approach but it works really well.

The other activity you can do is to post comments on your contacts page. Simply go to their page and click on add a comment. You can write a quick note and add the PIF4P banner in that comment field as well.

By working your DM resource on a daily basis you will bring a good deal of qualified traffic to your PIF4P website and start getting signups from that traffic.

Before you succeed with yourself or other people it is very important to conquer your mindset and to figure out how to control your emotions when it comes to business, or how to control what you are experiencing and what you’re thinking. If you don’t have it in yourself and haven’t figured out in your own mind that you are entitled to be successful it becomes really difficult for you to have success particularly in a home business but also in anything else. So when we think about getting your mindset in getting successful there are many different ways and many different things out there that we all have been exposed to. A lot of people suggest you go to different seminars to listen to motivational speakers and tapes and also to read. I agree with that because education primarily is going to do you good. It doesn’t hurt to learn more and have experiences.

Getting around successful people.
When I first started out in my first venture in home based business, I used to struggle, spend money on different things losing money, spending it left and right. It always seemed that I was spending a lot more than I was having profit but that made me come to the conclusion that I need to find people that can teach me more than I know. People that know more than I do and have experienced success. These people are the ones that you need to get around take a little of what they know and what they learned. You don’t have to listen to every single word and do every single thing they say. You don’t have to rely on everything they say, but it is important to understand where they’re coming from. You don’t have to agree with everything but the knowledge you get is going to start to register with you. Take some of the ideas in your own way or maybe you just want to duplicate it and do it yourself.

You always hear from people you know and love that “This is a scam; it’s never going to work… or get a real job”. These are people that care about you saying you can’t make money doing that. Why do you think they say such things?

In order to locate products that sell online, we need to
understand what people already want to buy. Finding a good
choice of idea or product is always accompanied by interfacing
the demand for the product in the current market and the level
of competition or market share that the product will be having
in the long run.

"What should I sell? What products are hot selling? These are
the questions most people are trying to find an answer in order
for them to make the definite decision. And if we really want to
know the answer to this question, our only choice is to do some
research. There are all kinds of twists along the road that may
lead you to think you have a high-demand idea. We must be able
to understand and satisfy the need, wants and expectations of
our customers on a certain product that they're trying to buy.
This three are called the basic needs or minimum requirements in
a purchase. Needs are the basic reasons or the minimum
requirements consumers are looking for in a product or service.
They are called the qualifying or "gatekeeper" dimensions in
a purchase. Wants are the determining dimensions among many
choices. Expectations, on the other hand, are values or
intangibles associated with a product or service. Expectations
are actually part of "wants" but they become extremely
important when products or services are not differentiated.

For example, in reading a logic book, university students look
for the following: Relevant logic concepts use of simple
language, easy to understand and affordable prices. These
similar ideas can be applied to Internet Sales as well. After
all, the Internet is just another place to sell products. The
basic concept of demand is the same there as it is anywhere
else, and has been all the time.

Now, the second thing that must be considered in finding
"hot" products to sell are the level of competition or the
market shares do your product will have. Market share or level
of competition means the ratio of your brand sales versus the

can. That means you have to FIT IT IN! It has to be your priority. If you
are a weekend warrior, then you have to work the majority of the weekends.
If you are a work at home mom, then you need to find time each day around
your family and get in at least a few minutes of work. If you are committed
to replacing a full time income with working at home, then you'll have to
put in 4-8 hours a day more days than you take off. You have to give it the
same dedication that you would a standard job. You cannot just let the days
drift by, and not schedule in time when you HAVE to work. Just DO it... and
stop making excuses.

Working at home is very doable. It is often chaotic, frequently frustrating,
and always hard work. But I do it every day. It has become part of who I am.

Provided you can make your scripted speech without being sidetracked by questions from your prospective customer and have no qualms about the size or number of the lies necessary to close a deal, you will easily find employment in the field of telemarketing.

If you think this sounds mean, just think for a moment about telemarketers. You know, the people that make unsolicited phone calls to you when you are in the middle of bathing the baby or having dinner or when you are up a ladder trying to hang wallpaper. You dive for the phone trying not to drop a slippery baby or trying to swallow your food without choking or trying to control the gummy wallpaper that wants to stick to you, the ladder and everything else around you. You manage to pick up the phone without suffering a serious accident and find yourself listening to a complete stranger who wants to sell you something you don't need and don't want.

While the baby howls, your dinner gets cold or the wallpaper dries in creases, this person talks at you relentlessly and seemingly without the need to take a breath. Only when the dripping soap suds or congealing food or the fact that your hand is glued to the phone finally drive you to interrupt, will there be a pause. This pause, however, is nothing more than a brief mini-second's respite before the script is resumed. You won't get the chance to say enough to turn the soliloquy into a conversation. You see, telemarketers are trained to capitalise on the fact that most people are polite. Most people in this situation don't like to interrupt and won't hang up the phone until the caller has finished speaking and goodbyes have been said.

The only ways to end a call from a telemarketer are to agree to purchase whatever he is offering you or to hang up the phone while he is still reciting his script. If you are too polite to hang up, you might as well just agree to purchase right away. There is absolutely no point trying to reason with a telemarketer; if you say you don't want to buy his elephant because you can't stand grey, he will ask you to tell him your favourite colours and then he will swear a solemn oath that the elephant he is offering you is yellow with pink polka dots. A tempting offer! By giving him that tiny bit of information about your personal taste, you have given the telemarketer his hook: he is offering you something in a colour-scheme you said you like, how can you reasonably refuse?

Even though the baby might be blue with cold or the dinner completely solid or the wallpaper glued to your shirt, don't accept the offer. A yellow with pink polka dots elephant might sound like a real novelty and acceptance might seem like a way to end this miserable phone call. The thing here is that, when you receive it, that elephant will be of the grey variety. I don't like to say this but telemarketers lie and, the more incredible the lie is, the more they will protest that the offer they are making you is genuine and too good to be true. Well, they get it half right: it will undoubtedly be too good to be true.

How to Balance Working at Home and Raising Your Kids

Most work at home moms start home based businesses because they want to be home with their little ones. And I was no different: I left a great corporate job to be around my two children.

But then, you put a lot of work in your business, and it works! Yes, you are getting orders, and making some money, but the flip side is that you don't have as much time for your little ones. How do you then balance your time? Do you still put your children first? Or do you go for the "just a minute honey!" line and hope they can't tell time?

It happened to me: one day, during my first Christmas season in business, I was busy with an order for 150 gift baskets. It was hard work, and stress was running high. The deadline was approaching, and I had no time to stop to even straighten the room.

There were boxes with product everywhere, there were empty boxes, and there was gourmet food everywhere: a true disaster area! And just then, my 4 year old daughter (now 11) came to me with her big brown eyes in tears: "Mommy, I am bored and I am lonely… Can we play a little?" What could I do? I was alone at home with her, and if I stopped to play, there was no way I could finish my order in time.

So, I thought quickly, on my feet, of how I could play with her and work at the same time. And I came up with the idea of building her an office right next to mine out of used/damages boxes. She was ecstatic! And SHE did all the work! I told her where to go and get the boxes, and made room for her by me desk. She built a desk, improvised a chair, and even had items to sell in her store.

With that in place, I was able to continue my work uninterrupted most of the time. She loved watching and copying me: when I picked up the phone to talk to a customer, she picked up her imaginary phone. When I needed to make a basket, she made one of her own. When I calculated the price for my baskets, she picked up a pencil and calculated her own prices.

In time, her office evolved: the old, damaged boxes were replaced with actual wooden drawers. Inventory I wasn't able to sell became her store's inventory. She even got an adding machine, and a couch. Now, her office is her favorite spot to play. And it's not just an office anymore: it's an entire building with different shops. She has a restaurant, a bath and body store, a book store, and a toy store.

The store has helped her in many ways:

she learned about maintaining and ordering inventory

she learned about phone etiquette

she learned addition and subtraction

she learned organization skills

she learned to be creative (little bits and pieces of ribbon, irregular baskets, empty containers have become great assets to her business)

It is a well-known fact that more and more people are choosing to work from home rather than face the daily agony that is otherwise known as commuting. There are many companies that are even encouraging this practise amongst their permanent staff as a viable alternative to travelling to work.

In most cities, workers will have to commute to and from the office, which depending on where they live could mean adding an extra one or two hours to their average day. At its very best commuting can be a tiresome and stressful activity made up of countless public transport delays, shoulder-to-shoulder contact with complete strangers and to a large extent, mind-numbing routine.

This sort of start cannot possibly be conducive to a productive working day and at long last there are a lot of companies beginning to realise this. However, it is worth mentioning those at the opposite end of the scale that actually thrive on running the commuter gauntlet morning and night and would never consider doing anything else, though I think they must be very much in the minority.

For many people, working from home has long been seen as the sole domain of freelancers, who many think get out of bed when they want to, start work and stop work when they want to and generally come and go as they please, which on occasion may be true, but more often than not it's exactly the opposite as one vital requirement of working from home is self-discipline; without it you may as well go back to commuting.

There are multiple distractions in the home that all too easily lure the unwary away from their work. There is no manager looking over your shoulder, nobody to tell you how long to have for lunch; you can wander away from your desk at any time you like. There might be a television programme you want to watch, the grass may need cutting, a visitor arrives or the dog needs walking. You can do all this if you want to and it sounds good doesn't it? - until at the end of the working day you suddenly realise that you haven't actually done much work at all whilst leaving a backlog to catch up on the following day.

However, once you are over the distraction stage it can be very rewarding to work in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of the home. You may find that you like the solitude in which to conduct your work, or welcome the fact that there isn't a colleague constantly taking up your time for one reason or another; you could discover that you can think more clearly without having photocopiers, fax machines and telephone noises constantly assaulting your eardrums. One of the foremost pleasures would be not having to travel to work, affording you the luxury of an extra hour or two in the day to do with as you please.

There is one piece of advice I would give to anybody who is thinking about working from home, and it is this: When you get up in the morning don't attempt to start work wearing your dressing gown. Get properly dressed as you would if you were travelling to work. This is more psychological than anything as it puts you in the right frame of mind for the day ahead - even if you are only working from the living room. If you slob around in a vest and shorts or your pyjamas you will not work to the best of your ability.

Working from home merits serious thought before you decide to take the plunge because it will not be to everyone's taste; ironically, some people who tried it found that they preferred the daily battle of commuting to the comparative peace and quiet of their homes, and subsequently returned to working at the office. To anyone working from home for the first time it will possibly be a bit of a culture shock but at the same time exciting, and once you adapt to the different rules, learn to manage your time effectively you will gradually begin to enjoy it.

Working From Home: Is Telecommuting For You?

Tip! #1: Get a good computer! I had an old computer, and it was miserably slow. I can remember waiting sometimes up to 5 mintues for a page to load, it was ridiculous! When you are working from home on your computer, you need speed.

Working from home sounds like a great option doesn't it? Certainly, you can read many articles on the Internet extolling the virtues of working from home and probably wish you could park your car in your garage and start telecommuting right away!

I've worked from home for close to two years now and absolutely love it.

This article will not list the benefits of working from home. Anyone can quickly figure out on their own that having no commute, no office politics, flexible work hours and closer proximity to your family are just four possible benefits that are achievable when you work at home.

You can figure out the benefits of working from home that are important to you without me telling you.

What I believe is more beneficial is a brief discussion of what you need to consider before thinking about setting up a home office and working from home. These are all things I've experienced and noticed since I started telecommuting:

1. Can you balance your work and your personal life?

In other words, can you easily take off your work hat and put your family hat on, and vice versa? It's easy to say but sometimes hard to do. I have found it difficult at times to leave work behind for the day because when you work from home, you don't leave the office to go home as before because you're already there! Don't underestimate the importance of being able to switch from your work persona to your personal life persona. It can be hard to do sometimes and can cause grief in your personal life.

2. Are you self-motivated?

Since you won't have your boss or co-workers to motivate you, you'll have to do it yourself. Working from home requires someone who can work on their own without a lot of direct supervision. Can you maintain a high level of work output on your own?

3. Do you have a dedicated work space that you can use for your home office?

You will probably find that your best bet to help separate your work and personal life is to have a dedicated work area (ie. a room solely used as your home office) to really set out your work space. If you simply work at the kitchen or dining room table, not only can things get messy quickly it can make it harder to separate work from home. If you have a room in your house that you can use strictly for work, you'll probably find it easier to walk away from work every night and concentrate on your personal life for a few hours!

4. Do you have a job that lends well to working from home?

If you have a job that requires frequent meetings or that requires you to work closely with other staff face to face, you might find it difficult to work from home without having to pop into work frequently which might end up defeating the purpose of telecommuting in the first place. Having said that, your employer will probably help make this distinction with you and working from home several days per week to start might be an option you could look at, if possible.

Tip! With the advent of the computer and associated equipment more and more people are changing career, deserting the corporate world and joining those of us who have successfully started our own businesses working from home and who continue to reap the benefits of being our own boss.

5. Do you need social interaction with other people?

If you need a great deal of face to face contact with other people, working from home may not be in the cards for you. Some people simply need the social interaction that working in an office provides and if you do, you might find yourself calling people on the phone for no reason other than to hear someone else's voice, which can really harm your productivity.

6. Are you easily distracted?

If working from home means that there is a chance you will spend a great deal of time watching tv, running personal errands and otherwise wasting time during "work hours" then telecommuting might not be for you. Depending on your job, you will most likely find your powers of concentration tested every single day.

When reviewing clients' ads, sales letters, brochures, and other sales pieces there are
Three words that always need to be deleted to make the letter more effective in generating responses.
Before you hear what the words are, let's make sure that you know where the
emphasis of your ads or letters should be. The emphasis, of course, should always be on
your customer.
You'll want to speak to your reader’s needs, wants, desires, and fears.
That's how you'll be able to get your message into your prospects' emotional level
brain so that your customer will take action. Remember, all decisions are made on an
emotional basis first and then justified by logic later.
And the best way to get to your prospects emotional brain is to speak of the benefits
your customer receives by purchasing your product/service...not the features...but the
benefits.
As a reminder, BENEFITS are the RESULTS your customer will receive by doing
business with you and features are the distinguishing characteristics of your
product/service.
It's great that your product/service has distinguishing characteristics (features) that
separate you from your competition, however, if you show your prospect the desired
RESULTS you can provide, then you're showing your customers the BENEFITS
received by purchasing your products/services.
Okay, so what are these three words guaranteed to make your ads and sales letters
fail?
They are the words that completely take the focus off of your customer...these three
words do not speak to your customers' emotions...these three words do nothing to instill
desire in your prospect for your product/service...the three words to get rid of in your ads
and sales letters are, "I...Me...My".
These three words put the emphasis and spotlight on you, the writer, instead of your
customer/prospect. There is no way for you to communicate to your reader's emotions if
you only speak about yourself ("I, me, my"). You've got to be writing to your reader,
about your reader and your reader's hopes, desires,. wants, dreams, and fears.
That's how you get them to respond to your offer.
Now here's something that you may find interesting.
Have you noticed that in this discussion, that the words "I, me, or my" have not been
used?
YOU...have been the complete focus of this discussion...YOU and YOUR customers
and prospects.
And at first it's pretty hard to get the words "I, me, my" out of your writing.
Why is that, you ask?
Well, it's because of...you guessed it...your own emotions.
All humans, "way down deep", are only interested in their own wants and desires.
That's "way down deep" on the subconscious levels (remember the article about the three
brains and how to communicate with each).
So that's why it's hard at first to get rid of these three words.
But fortunately for your bank account, you can learn to delete "I, me, my" from your
vocabulary and learn to turn phrases into "you, your, and yours" that put the spotlight
where it belongs, which is on your customer/prospect.
This one little change in your ads and letters will increase your effectiveness and your
results immediately.
So here's what you do now.
Go through your ads and letters and re-write any sentence that has the words "I, me,
my" in them. By doing this, you'll automatically have to place the spotlight on your
customers, which will help you communicate the desired results (benefits) of your
product/service to your customers own wants and desires.
Now sometimes it just seems impossible to get around using an "I, me, or my" in a
sentence (but make sure you don't give up too easy). When this occurs, use the words
"we, us, our" instead. This will soften the focus on "I, me, my" and give you a little
springboard to get back to using the words "you, your, yours". But make sure that you've
tried every which way to phrase the sentence using "you, your, yours" first.

I'd pay them $50,000.00 because it would be worth it!!

But it's not worth it and hardly ever get results.
You must generate your own traffic.

Adblasters, these things hardly ever work and you'd be better
off using other methods of driving buyers to your site, like
solo ads in ezines and Google Adwords. I tested the effectiveness
of some blasters I bought a long time ago, and tracked the results
by seeing how many leads were generated.

Results? Let's just say that blasters do
not work and aren't a good use of your time.

Safelists are full of sellers trying to sell, not buyers looking
to buy,so this isn't a good way to spend your valuable time, either.

The same thing applies to traffic exchanges, too.
Ask any experienced and successful Internet Marketer
if they use traffic exchanges and they'll tell you
there's a better way to get traffic

Sure, you might get some leads, and maybe even some sales with
the aforementioned methods,but the time it takes and the clutter
in your Inbox just isn't worth it.

Lesson learned. I was always looking for an online opportunity to start making money. I start out with something promising and barely work on it. Days go by i do minimal work and then i get angry, or surprised that I'm not getting any success. So naturally i find something more appealing and sign up to it thinking that this opportunity is better, than the previous and what do i do? I repeat the process? why?
I'm a lazy person i always look for the easier way to accomplish a task. That doesn't lead me anywhere. You can only bee lazy once you worked hard enough that you don't really need to keep working yourself to achieve a certain goal. Lets say that for example my goal is to get traffic to a certain site lets say 500 per day. There certain steps i have to take in order to achieve it. If i don't follow the steps then i won't accomplish my goals. I should only think of being lazy if i have a system that brings me that much traffic for less work.
I jumped from one opportunity to another. I worked hard on some and little on others.
It's weird when it comes to the Internet i tend to think that things are a lot easier than they should be. I don't know where that state of mind comes in but it's very costly. I study hard for my exams and get good results. I work hard when i work out and get good results. If i don't study then my grades go down and if i don't work out i loose muscle mass and get fat.
Focusing is very important in life and it should also be in Internet marketing. Every day i have tasks that i follow to get my business moving. I'm doing a lot better now that i keep tabs on my activities.

I've Learned To Avoid The Following Free Traffic Tactics

This is from personal experience. I'm not trying to criticize anybody using them i just don't think they work. I've used the following programs:
# Auto-Surf Programs
# Guaranteed Hits
# Safe Lists
# Ad Blasters
# Search Engine Blasters
# FFA Sites and Link Farm

I concluded that these are not really great tools. Yes i got lots of traffic using them but i did not get good results. I managed to get some clicks and even a few people sign up for my offers but the sign up ratio is really terrible and here is why.
These programs are free to use and almost anybody can use them. However we all do the same thing and that is only advertise our business and not pay attention to the others. Lets take the example of auto surf programs. This is what i did, i came i saw , i liked the idea , i signed up, posted my links and just let the system rotate them for a period of time and that is what everyone else is doing. So i learned that for me most free traffic sources do not work well in matter of attracting people to your site. It's mostly automated and you receive almost no target traffic. No target traffic to me is a waste of time. What's the point of having traffic if you can't get interested people to view and or click your link?
Of course there are exceptions and many free traffic driving programs that work well like TrafficSwarm for example.

calling themselves a newbie simply adds to their own lack of
success. That term becomes a crutch. Or a self-fulfilling
prophecy. “I am new, therefore I can’t”. Yup! You’re right!

Well, I am here to tell you…it’s okay to stop calling yourself
a newbie now. It’s okay to have confidence in yourself. Let me
tell you something - even those who have a successful on line
business STILL make mistakes, don’t know everything, suffer from
confidence issues. But the difference is, they have the confidence
to push themselves forward. They don’t use the newbie crutch.

Building your own self confidence may take some time, but the
number one thing for you to do is believe in yourself. Believe
in your capacity to learn. Believe in your capacity to achieve.

True story…I went to a seminar over a year ago. There was a
woman who wanted to start an on line business. So she flew to
Phoenix all the way from the U.K.

She was on line about a year at this point. She had a set idea
in her mind about what she wanted to accomplish. And she was
studying whatever she could and attending seminars.

So what makes this story different from so many others? Well,
she’s 92 years old. You can bet she wastes very little time
using “newbie” as an excuse for lack of success.

I don’t know about you, but I find that to be an inspiration.
Take it where you can get it and feed off it. You’ll get there.

Six Common Mistakes In Website Design That Kill Your Online Business

Some websites fare well. Others falter � and miserably at that. What�s the difference? What do the successful websites do right and what do the failed websites do wrong?

The answer � or answers even � isn�t difficult to fathom. There are quite a number of common mistakes that seal the fate on internet marketers and their dreams. Here are 6 of them, which hopefully, you�d try to avoid at all cost.

1. A slow loading website. There is nothing more irritating than a website that tales forever to load. Granted that most internet users these days have high speed connections, a great percentage are still hooked up to the World Wide Web via slower 56K access. This percentage should not be taken for granted. In building your website, try to stay away from the humongous graphic files. No, you don�t need a high number of pixels. No, you don�t need fancy movies or flash animation. No, you don�t need catchy music. You need a website that will deliver the information it promises at an instantaneous rate, and for this reason, you have to choose functionality over design.

2. A navigation system that is very difficult to understand. If your menu bar is too complicated, you�ll just end up driving away a lot of your visitors. You don�t want your visitors to get stuck in just one page. You need to make it easy for them to explore your website. Your pages must be interlinked in a logical way, and this connection should be easily navigable through an intuitive interface that even a 7 year old will be able to understand. Again, this is a matter of functionality over design. Place your navigation links either at the top of the page right below the header, or at either side of the page in a separate column. This is where your visitors� eyes will wander once they want to discover the other pages in your website.

3. Low quality content. Content is king on the internet. People log online to find information they need, and information is conveyed through your content. If your content is poorly written, who will have the patience to read the same? If your content is not unique, why will people choose your website over others? Indeed, there are two requisites for good quality content: excellent presentation and originality. Minus either of this, your entire website will be in jeopardy.

4. Poor choice of keywords to focus on. Keywords drive traffic to your website. Keywords are the terms that people search for when they�re looking for information. If you targeted the right keywords, quality visitors will come aplenty. If you targeted the wrong keywords, visitors will be scarce. So make sure you discover the right keywords even before you start building your website.

5. Cookie cutter websites. Again, this is a matter of originality � or the lack of it. Why would people choose your website over thousands of others sharing the same layout and boasting of the same content? What makes your website special? If these questions cannot be answered positively, then your online business is doomed. Worse, search engines penalize duplicate content, and your website will have a lower position in the search engine results.

6. A website that lacks focus. Focus is key in designing a website. It will be difficult for a website to focus on several, unrelated topics. Why would visitors who are interested with dogs be interested with astronomy? There�s no connection between the two subjects, and if your website caters to these topics, among others, then prepare for some rough sailings ahead.

A little more about PayitForward4Profit

Well Like i said this is a great opportunity. I'm so excited it's a little hard to sleep. TrafficSwarm. TrafficSwarm is a place where i can place adds for free as a free member. This is possible because I'm awarded 100 credits as a new member. It works because I've already received many hits from there. Then there is TrafficOasis this is a lot better then trafficSwarm and you can join for free. TrafficOasis automatically gives you leads just for being a member, a paid member.I'm not a paid member because well i can't afford it yet. So instead i used my trusty google search engine to find out how to get some free leads, free traffic to my website. I came up with a lot of different programs, and i signed up for the following because they seem to be pretty good: FreeAddDepot, ListJoe, TargetAdd, TripleYourList, YourLuckyList. I get trafiic from Hitstream and Hitlite.

I've already received some good results from FreeAddDepot and TrippleYourList. They created my very first entries to my downline, and that was all free. Now I'm pretty sure i could get more people to join if i pay for certain promotions they have.

My goal for the time being is to use these programs to get as much people to join and learn about TrafficOasis as a paid member i get a commission. That will help me upgrade from being a free member.

Hello, this is day one of my blogging

I've joined a site called PayItForward4Profit. Basically the ultimate goal of this site is to help me increase the revenue of my primary business. The funny thing is a joined with many affiliate programs but I'm not sure what to use as my primary business. Well I guess I will choose between
HyperVre and AffiliateCashSecrets. I believe I will go AffiliateCashSecrets with because it seems to follow the same concept and I can always promote my other affiliate programs from what I learn with PayItForward4Profit. So This is day one of this crazy ride (9/27/2006). Now I shall follow the instructions carefully and see how far I get with this.
My current status...
I'm college student. I study at the University of Maryland as a computer science major student. Now in order to help me pay for college expenses I work (unfortunately) full time as a pizza maker. Emphasis on maker I'm not just any regular pizza boy, I actually make them from scratch you know with the dough and everything. It's a little messy but fun lol. The work environment is mostly fun until I start thinking about how I shouldn't have to be doing this. I should be mostly concentrating on school and not have to work as much as I do just to get by with tuition alone..

Now I believe my misfortune is about to change thanks to PayItForward4Profit. This concludes my first blog.
